Here are some of the most common questions that I get asked:

What camera gear do you shoot with?

I currently shoot with a Canon t7i and a variety of lenses from Canon, Tokina, and Sigma. For aerial shots, they're all taken on a DJI Mavic Pro, and I use Polar Pro polarized ND filters.

How do you edit your photos?

I edit all of my photos in Adobe Lightroom (usually on my desktop, but sometimes with the free mobile app too). Over the years I have refined my editing style into presets, which helps make the editing process faster, easier, and more consistent. You can purchase the same presets that I use from my online shop if you want to use them yourself. Once I've finished my edits in Lightroom, I will sometimes move the photo into Photoshop if I need to make some adjustments or clean-up the background to take out distracting elements.

How do you make money from all this?

My main income source comes from my photography work, creating content for brands to use for their own socials and advertising, and sometimes by posting sponsored posts on my Instagram feed. I also have the online shop here on my website where you can purchase prints, presets, or other digital products. And in addition to this, you may find some affiliate links on this website, if you click on one and end up purchasing a product I receive a small commission (at no cost to you, and PS. thank-you so much for supporting me by doing this!)

How do I get more followers on Instagram?

Ah yes, those elusive followers. It's certainly more difficult these days than it was in the past, but not impossible to grow a following on Instagram. And I'll let you in on a little secret, the actual number of followers you have matters a lot less than you might think it does. If you want to start working with brands, it's much more important that you be creating quality content, and that you have an engaged audience that know, like, and trust you. My number one tip for this is that you have to show up. Don't post and ghost - spend time (like at least one hour) engaging with other content on the app, and you'll start to see results.

What's your favourite country?

Honestly, it's pretty hard to pick just one. Everywhere I visit is unique, and I generally find something to love about everywhere that I've been. But my home country, Canada, will always have a very special place in my heart, and as much as I love living in Australia, I will always miss being home in Canada. Other than this, Thailand is the country I have returned to more often than anywhere else, so I guess maybe Thailand wins for most favourite place to visit?
